About the chief author

My name is Steve Dunn. I am the husband of Dianne, a wonderful Christian who clearly loves Jesus Christ. The father of four children and the grandfather of three. I have been a Christian since I was eight years old. I was raised in the church. It was not perfect, nor has the church ever been perfect; but the Church (along with my parents) that raised me simply loved God and saw that there most important contribution to the planet was faith expressing it self in love.

I have been the Lead Pastor of the Church of God of Landisville since 2001, and a pastor since I was 21.

I believe the Church is the continuing Body of Christ. We carry in us the spiritual DNA of Jesus.  When the Church makes this Great Identification and embraces it with a passion, Christ works in and through us. And when God is working, He always does immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine according to His power at work within us. This blog is dedicated to the church that desires to be immeasurably more – a Great Church with a Great Vision from a Great God.’

In a world that often loves Jesus, but not His bride, the Church, I pray that what I share will encourage the Church to be a Bride worthy of her Groom. Sometimes this blog will be critical of the church; because I believe that we must always be honest about ourselves and speak the truth in love. Sometimes this blog will challenge the church. Sometimes this blog will tell stories that remind all of us why Christ loves His Church.

I welcome your comments, your contributions, your questions and your stories. I pray that for all of us this will be a labor of love in Jesus’ name.
